Which Church Father Are You?

This quiz is pretty lame, but fun and quick to take nonetheless. Below are my results. What are yours?

You’re Origen!

You do nothing by half-measures. If you’re going to read the Bible, you want to read it in the original languages. If you’re going to teach, you’re going to reach as many souls as possible, through a proliferation of lectures and books. If you’re a guy and you’re going to fight for purity … well, you’d better hide the kitchen shears.

  1. Sean,
What kind of questions where those? I kept looking for “none of the above”. Anyway, apparently my match was to St. Justin Martyr. I am amazed at the summary they got out of my anwers and how that makes me like St. Justin Martyr.

    Odd perhaps, but interesting

  2. TEX-RED!!!!

Those questions were stupid, I know. I think they must have contained some kind of inherent mystical quality. How else could they have come to those conclusions?

  3. You are St. Melito of Sardis!

You have a great love of history and liturgy. You’re attached to the traditions of the ancients, yet you recognize that the old world — great as it was — is passing away. You are loyal to the customs of your family, though you do not hesitate to call family members to account for their sins.

Okay, this thing is a little lame … some of what it says of me is true but certainly not all of it.

  4. LOL.

Tina, that is hilarious. And you’re right, that survey is pretty stupid. In fact, now that I think about it, I have no idea why I even put it on there….. STUPID!

Great seeing you on here. Come back again.

    With lots of Bolivian groping,
    Sean ;)
